Courses - Seminars

Teeth are not separate from the rest of the body but an integral part of it, thus, malocclusion is but one manifestation of a possible bigger dysfunctional syndrome and must be viewed and treated under that concept.

These courses could be backed up by practical study club sessions once a month.

The purpose of the courses is to teach dentists in a gradual manner how to properly diagnose and treat orthopaedic/orthodontic cases.

It will be emphasised the proper collection of records and informed consent both necessary to escalate tiers and for medico-legal reasons respectively.

Great importance will be given to early treatment in the mixed dentition and non extraction technique.

For the study club sessions doctors are encouraged to bring study casts, lateral x-rays, cephalometric tracings, photos and OPG, together with relevant clinical information for analysis, presentation, and evaluation.
